Don't leave Rick!!!! I have no idea what the issue really is exactly, I have just read over the months about your predicament, but based on this post now I'm having a good guess. If you leave you won't ever be back. That's a bullying tactic of DOHA to coerce detainees to voluntarily leave, but if they could have deported you on a reasonable ground, they would have done it already, so I assume AAT/court review is now pending. New legislation allows PR visa cancellation for past offences that qualify, but 14 years good behavior is pretty much mitigating circumstances (depending on the nature of that past glich of course), and a good enough lawyer can get a review through for you. A good enough lawyer can get you out of that hellhole as well on a BVE.
