Better day today with racing taking place in fine weather and on an improving track. We had a healthy 53 tips from the pre open crew with 4 late scratchings in TH. Plenty of positive chat all day on the threads and around the track especially from the backers of EFE and FFG. Interesting that one of our most consistently tipped runners in EFE did not get a mention in this mornings pre-open -maybe thats the key to it. No majors again today but Sobar found 3 among them for an outstanding award and a further 3 for an honorable mention. The outstandings go to AOA opened .009 / top fluc .011 / closed .009 from @FXm and @HungHing .TLM .15/.19/.19 from your correspondent and @GC Rabbit and WWIO .004/ .006 / .005 from @wrighty64 The honorable mentions go to IXR .045 / .05 / .048 from @takizawa2 ,INF .21 / .235 / .21 from @wrighty64 and ATP .027.032 /.03 from @elite-trader who made a nice "bounce" call on it pre open. Stewards room were busy with the late scratchings -ECS for a supply and tolling agreement ,POS for drilling results (hopefully good news there) ,ICI for a major acquisition and a fund raiser to pay for it and AZL awaiting news from the metalurgist. FFG got hauled in for a please explain .As usual nothing known but connections did mention in passing that its major part owner ICandy (ICI)had put out an announcement. Anyway the folk at the track certainly liked it and Fatfish(FFG) followers were very happy by the time market closed .All eyes await the return to racing of ICI when it resumes on 22nd or possibly earlier.
