No major awards again today but a few nice trades were made on the day based on the loud barracking from the crew on the morning and afternoon threads. Although not tipped this morning, mirrens runner from yesterday IDZ continued its good form and many of our regular contributors were spotted in the payout queue with smiles on their dials.
As for the mornings tips we had a healthy 57 with a couple of our bigger trainers contributing several runners. Sobar was a bit light on for awards finding just 3 for outstanding and 1 for honorable mention.
The outstandings go to ECT which was actually initially pulled out by the stewards just before it jumped at 10.02am.Having informed punters that it had acquired a block of land for its hydrogen caper it recommenced at 1.06pm and raced really well. Its official price was open .048 / top fluc/ .068 / closed .063. It was from the stables of
@FXm and
@wrighty64 .Its little brother ECTOE was next one ,it was .026 /.034 / .03 also from
@FXm and
@wrighty64 .The other one was LMGO .05 / .06 / .057 again from
@wrighty64 .Well done on the double and treble to both of you.
The one honorable mention goes to MNS ,who nearly had to be put down a couple of days ago but has staged a big recovery .it was .52 /..615 /.60 from dual trainers

We had one maiden runner in the IPO handicap in RTH .It began nicely but broke down mid race and will be vetted. Its figures were 1.70 /1.755 /1.60.
In the stewards room ICI was asked to explain how it went from .135 to .175 with no announcement before its recent trading halt. The connections could not explain this but Sobar suspects someone may have accidently overheard something .and word somehow escaped to the folk at the track and then spread like the delta strain. No doubt ICI will enhance its stable security in future.
