I am going to a funeral today. My cousin lost a sister, a child, her parents separately over time and her husband last year. She said that coping with each death was different and she was never prepared for how she has reacted in each case. Each one affected her differently. She said that after the first four she thought she was in a good place emotionally when her husband died last year; she didn't handle it well at all.. Eleven months on and she isn't traveling too well. I was surprised when she told me she would be at this funeral today. It will be the first time I have seen her since his death.
