Yeh I'm trying to keep a closer eye one the ones that have that initial burst in volume and movement, and then pulling back/retracing, consolidating then following through for a continuation on volume rather than collapsing like you mentioned.

Ones like KTA are too risky for my appetite with the P&D style play.
No effort at all to backtest or establish support. Also makes it very difficult to find an entry or exit, even on the initial big breakout around 3.8. One for the brave.
