Well not a vintage day today like it was yesterday ,a bit of a teasing market that started up and then drifted and dribbled its way to a flat close. We managed to fill the barriers with 2 commsec watchlists worth of hopefuls this morning for a total of 70. Couple of late scratchings in VUL ,apparently some mob reckon they can benefit by nobbling VUL and lowerering its price. VUL is understandably not happy at all with this turn of events and is preparing a report on the matter for stewards before it can race again. It was a very late scratching at 9.57am.The other was KOR which was scratched at 9.17 while it works on raising a bit of chaff money. KOR was the neddy that raced away with the Bart Cummings award yesterday. Just shows you 24 hours is a long time in racing. The stewards also received a report from the connections of CAE on its recent unexpected good form ,as usual they knew nothing. Onto todays awards and sobar has found 4 outstandings and 3 honorable mentions. The outstandings go to LMG opened .057/top fluc .01/closed .057 and no wonder it did so well because it had 4 trainers in@Tradingdreamz88@Wanganella ,@profitplease and@TommyTrader. The next one is AGR .068/.084/.066 also from@Wanganella .CMD was .029/.038/..021 from @dazatoN hope you managed a Houdini with that one DazatoN and finally AEV .016/.022/.022 from @blackfrrost . The honorable mentions went to ANL (few very rude remarks about this one this morning but it had the last laugh) ,it was .002/.003/.002 for its trainer@Bomber78 ,LIO .078/.092/.082 from @slips and MGL .59/.65/.535 from @TraderNin and @Elite_Trader. As I write gold is soft and US futures are doing their best , on to tomorrow ,heres hoping.
