ASIC is not after the guys with a lot of capital and lawyers to back them up. This is about a bunch of retail getting together because only in numbers can they afford to move the market. We have all seen the big guys act as manipulators and/or outright scammers.
I'm not saying I condone any shifty behaviour with the markets, I personally think that's the wrong way to go about getting an edge. However if they're going to actively Crackdown on retail, But we all know they will outright turn a blind eye to the big guys. They're just choosing who to control, with no active steps at all towards creating a level playing field.
