Hi, just have a question. I make many trades per year and questioned my accountant about setting up a business as a sole trader ( I already have an ABN). I was surprised when she said to treat it as an investment to write off a previous loss from years ago. I still think it better to have it through a business and would be very interested in your ( and anyone else's) opinions on trading through an ABN.
