Yes, it's a lot of time, hence my question.. and I never said the SP will always react the same way to every announcement. It's more to do with averages and getting to know how popular each stock is. I won't attempt to trade something that's only moved once in the previous 10 announcements and I won't hold something overnight that's never gone higher than day 1. This is part of my risk management which has both made and saved me money so I'll continue to do what works for me. I have no idea why I have to explain this to you.
