You will often find that a big player or two is involved when they start throwing 2M and 5M bids around in the auction. Granted, neither of them were legit, but I sense they were there to stir up a few holders. Have a look at the Top$tocks forum where a wise poster on there seems to have a good idea of what is going on with the trading patterns.
Also if you have a chance for ten minutes tomorrow, have a look at the adjustments of the market depths during live trading in the morning. You will find that the 3.8 cent bid line is always getting stacked up, and there appears to be endless sellers above 4cents. This is often a sign of accumulation/distribution.
While it could be distribution (i.e. hidden selling) I sense that it would be accumulation (i.e. measured buying) because of the imminent news.
