Good to hear some views on trading conditions. Helps clarify whether it's the fault of the individual or wider market conditions. FWIW I've also had a rotten month. Been a real struggle to find trades. Not enough stocks have behaved the way I'd expect in better times.

Two months ago I thought we were in for a bumper year. I was projecting my Jan-March profits through to December and rubbing my hands. Hubris. Foolish, foolish, hubris. Can't ever take anything for granted in this game.

Feels strange to write this when the market is sitting near all-time highs. Perhaps that's part of the problem - the trading houses are doing so well at the big end of the market that they can ignore the specs. Trading volumes are generally poor beyond the one or two that run each session.
