Most Australians are more sympathetic to the recent economic damage done to Australian businesses, by fire , Covid, flood and the Chinese tariff of 212% on our wine producers, and are therefore supporting Australian sparkling wine products. It’s true the champagne making regions of France have been dealt a blow , but that’s a good thing right ?Tasmanian and Victorian sparkling wine producers are as good as the French producers. Do yourself a favour, save some of that money burning a hole in your pocket for the local produce.
