possibly true in the champagne stakes, but you may recall Robert Parker Jnr went out on a limb and described Australian red wines as far better than French. I also worked in the wine industry ( in a previous career ) and saw fit to taste my way through just about every notable five star winery in South Australia. I agree with Robert Parker .
