    "after a good short trade"

I have also noticed that a really solid winning trade can cause greed. It's like you've got a box of donuts, you have one and "damn that tastes good!" and you grab at another one! tongue.png Not good. Within moments, you've given back half of your winnings.

Another scenario that could explain it is self-sabotage. A big win can trigger feelings of doubt and un-worthiness. If you pay really close attention, sometimes you can get a little glimpse of that feeling. If you dig into the belief it might be something like "I just made all this money without working for it" what.png. Just an example, but these things lurk in the subconscious and they affect trading far more than most realize.
