When I got into charting a few years ago the two people that assisted me the most was @h00ts and @mirren (two of the best) and they used dark background charts. Therefore I conformed to make it easier.
To me now, white background charts are like going to the theatre and leaving the lights on, but I really couldn’t give a rats either way and never even notice. Just concentrating on the detail.

So if someone wants to put me on ignore for charting with dark backgrounds allowing the details to “pop” then that’s a shame, but not my problem.
