Sorry for quoting an old post. Just curious, when it comes to tax time are you treated as an invester or a trader? I have been reluctant to try a few quick trades as I am uncertain as to the implications on my long term holdings. I have a few spec stocks that are 2-3 year holds. I would hate to end up paying full CG tax on these.
