I agree that we all have vices and my hearty congratulations on a very nice win!!

However, in my simple opinion one should never approach the stock market as a gamble and take a punt based on a tip from another poster/punter. They may be lucky some of the time but if one has a true interest in learning the "craft" one should really put in the time and effort necessary.

I appreciate the opportunity to indulge in sensible dialogue.

Trading is a lonely business so I thoroughly encourage those I work with to share their trading journey with their partner. Share both the lows and highs and when you do have a nice win - celebrate together. Perhaps your partner will say they are not interested and that is fine but at least you have attempted to include them.
