Yes, as someone now becoming a "mature-aged" person (I was offered a seat on a bus for the first time about 2 years ago, so I must be starting to look a bit tragic), it's well to remember that our parents said the same sort of things to us, as did their parents. The youngsters of today will pay as much attention to what their parents tell them as we did to ours.
