The SPI is 15 points lower this morning at 5316.
US markets fell away with the S&P on its' worst run in four months, down .95% for the session.
Consumer discretionary stocks continued to fall despite a report showing consumer confidence is the highest in a year. Nordstrums fell 13%, Walmart 2.9%, the biggest loser on the Dow.
A look at the Dow Transports isn't very inspiring atm.
Copper holds above $4600, a key level, and if able to hold here may start a short covering rally. A fall below $4580
would probably mean a retest of the January lows above $4300.

Gold overcame US dollar strength to rise .75% to $1273.
HUI +1.4%
