Day Trading 27 July Pre Market, page-9

Morning all
I thought I’d introduce myself because I’ve been lurking here for a while trying to learn and it’s starting to feel a bit weird. I started DTing two weeks ago and so far I’m nearly breaking even.

If any of the experienced traders on here are looking for a protégé then let me know.

I’ve worked for ~15 years engineering for the mining and processing industries. I been involved from feas and pre-feas right through to construction and maintenance. I’ve worked with gold, copper, rare earths, nickel, iron ore, diamonds….probably more. I know a couple of computer programming languages and I make a mean toasted bacon sandwich.
I have some stupid questions if someone doesn’t mind answering them.
What stock scanning platform do you use? I’m currently “using” Commsec’s tools but there must be better options….. or I’m doing it wrong.
What’s a manageable number of stocks to hold at a time?
Do you try and get in and out with stocks or do you hold them for longer?
