Day Trading 28 Feb Pre Market, page-29

Sorry Jim didn't see your post before I posted my Ramblings. As we discussed yesterday, HUI much weaker that GDX but that sharp move up early in the session last night in precious metals (particularly in platinum) attracted quite a bit of selling. Gold ran into an upper boundary line. It left a bit of a gap below a couple of weeks ago which it might be looking for. As well , I have mentioned somewhere along the line in recent days that often these flat topped patterns (gold) have to be revisited to test the support there. I am happy for precious metals to continue to consolidate as the rise since the end of December has been very strong So many of our stocks have had huge rises but the ones I like have been very slow to come off. Bit frustrating when you sell half a position with the idea that you can cleverly lower your net price by getting back in at a lower level. So far not looking so clever!
