    Morning all
    A weekend of the Underdog!

World markets were buoyed Friday as Deutsche Bank reputedly settled its' US lawsuit for around $7 billion, about half what was originally claimed by the US treasury.
However over the weekend it has been charged in Italy for falsifying records in 2008 with an Italian Bank.
Financial stocks are likely to remain skittish.

The RBA meets tomorrow and is expected to keep rates on hold. Economists will be looking for clues on a change in sentiment, and also closely watching inflation, the Aussie dollar and housing and labour markets.
Also on Tuesday is the release of building approvals figures, with NAB expecting a decline in approvals from the 11.3 per cent month-on-month surge in July.

Retail sales are slated for Wednesday, with economists expecting a slight pick-up following July's very weak read.
Trade balance figures are out on Thursday and the market is broadly expecting a $2.3 billion deficit.

Overseas, the US non-manufacturing and manufacturing surveys are released on Wednesday and Thursday. But the big one is the non-farm payrolls data out on Friday, which will paint a clearer picture of American employment. The market expects about 175,000 jobs to have been created and the unemployment rate to stay unchanged at 4.9 per cent.

Oil prices settled mixed on Friday while posting their second straight monthly gain on OPEC's planned output cuts, even as skepticism about the cartel's pledge grew after data suggested another record high in its production.
Brent crude settled up 4 percent for September and WTI crude rose 8 percent, helped by Wednesday's announcement by the OPEC in Algeria that it aimed to remove some 700,000 barrels per day from the market. 1
