Surely the process we are going through right now is:

1) getting some feedback from a relatively small number of informed users
2) upgrades, bug fixes, add-ons
3) opening up to a larger number of users
4) yet more upgrades, bug fixes, add-ons
5) repeat last 2 steps as necessary
6) going global

Therefore:
1) Significant download numbers are not only unimportant - but actually undesirable at this stage - we want the minimum number of people uploading - just enough to get market response - to help take it to V2 or V3
2) Revenue is completely irrelevant at a this stage - revenue comes when the platform is fully up and running
3) Microsoft connection to occur at first legit Version - either V2 or V3
4) SP to move when the market can see progress as per above - confidence will grow when V2 is released - and increase through V3 and beyond

Conclusion

Focus on feedback and upgrades
Park all other expectations for now
