Japan's current account surplus narrows in August
Japan's current-account surplus reached 454.7 billion yen ($5.8 billion) in August, data out Tuesday showed. Exports fell 5.3% while imports declined 5.4%, according to the Ministry of Finance. Economists had been expecting a surplus of 442.0 billion yen, according to data compiled by Dow Jones Newswires. The current account surplus reached 625.4 billion yen in July
