PJ. My story. Sold entire portfolio the day b4 '86 crash, (true), paid off house.
Lost the lot in tech wreck, bought back in and lost another 50%.
Sold property investments at top of boom at end 2003.
V good returns in 2005-2006
Went to 50% cash 2008 but not recovered to 2007 peak.
Now, with great difficulty, trying to change from stock picker to share trader.
Still crazy after all these years. lol
