August means summer festivals in much of the northern hemisphere to take advantage of the warm weather. The Culturama public holiday in St Kitts and Nevis is an excuse to celebrate the islands' traditions through parties, concerts, food festivals and a parade. The breakfast table seems to have been thoroughly westernized. Nothing authentically Caribbean about this offering, but I am a sucker for this kind of thing.
