    Morning HL and all
    Yummy breakie again
Thinking a tribute to Melbourne’s great brunch places is in order (perhaps again) as all are now grossly handicapped by the lockdown and sadly many may never reopen again.
Melbourne has been the pioneer and leader in coffee / brunch culture for many years and has inspired cities all around Oz and widely around the world. Have personally enjoyed ‘Little Collins’ in New York featuring all things Melbourne right in the middle of midtown Manhattan. Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo and beyond all feature ‘Melbourne Style Cafes’ through what has become a great Australian cultural and lifestyle export.
The beauty of it has always been that these Melbourne cafes are run by small and independent operators who had put 100% of their love and passion out into these businesses. It is truly sad to think that many of these places might never reopen again.
Just a tip as I am sure we all agree a little spotlight here and there, however insignificant, would be a good thing to do for these struggling Victorian businesses
