Bitcoin rally is because of the 'halving'. ie. at soon to come set date, the number of new bitcoins produced will be halved. Making them even scarcer in theory. This has already happened a few times and each time there has been a price rally.
At $50K, my 4000 bitcoins that I gave up trying to buy one Sunday arvo at 25c, are worth $200M.
