Continuing our recent run of brekkies that look like one thing, taste like another. These ain't doughnuts. These are Medu Vada, a type of Indian breakfast fritter often served with coconut chutney and sambar. The batter is made from black lentils and may be seasoned with ginger, cumin, fenugreek or chilli. Meanwhile, back in the real world I had a bowl of Weetbix. Sad face.
