Here's one you can't make at home: Onsen Tamago is a Japanese breakfast delicacy made by slow-cooking eggs in hot springs. Got one of those handy? Me neither. According to Taste Atlas, the eggs are lightly cooked in their shells to give a soft-set yolk and a loose white. The eggs are then served on steamed rice with a drizzle of soy or broth and garnished with chopped spring onion.
