Ok guys,

it's now getting very serious

for those who havent heard, this is what happened to @rick64 yesterday

He had 12 in total, cops, border force and immigration officers

haul him off to the Northam detention centre this morning.

No explanation as to the real reason why.

This is CONTRARY to what his solicitor has been telling him.

She told him he wouldn't be put in detention until such time

that it was the end of negotiations, and he was going to be actually deported.

Guess there was a bit of a communication breakdown, normal when dealing with

solicitors, especially legal aid.

Can't even visit him for at least a week because of all the paper work required.

I've got the Govt. solicitors, (prosecution) phone number,

and ABF phone number, that I can ring tomorrow.

At present, Rick is sounding O.K. or at least as well as can be expected,

considering he was assured that this was not going to happen

hi guys
i am ensconsed in a share room

with one other guy of pakistan origin.
hoping to hear from my lawyer tomorrow.
Angie is being looked after by my neighbor.
this came totally unexpected and i am hoping against hope that things work out for the better.
was a 7hr trip from gero to northam and i am feeling a lttle worse for wear.
at least i can use my phone in here.
looking forward to being out and chatting with you all once again.
