Question for you experienced traders

What are the dynamics involved post CR that causes a SP to drop below the CR price - this seems to happen more often than not.

So why would instos buy into a stock knowing that there's a better than even chance it will fall below their buy price post investing?

I understand that if instos chose to buy on market they would push the price up in the process, so is entering via CR the lesser of two evils?

would like to hear some thoughts on this.
