    Today is the Emancipation Day public holiday in Bermuda, marking the end of slavery throughout British colonies in 1834. The most popular traditional breakfast in Bermuda involves codfish, but I figure people needed a break from the sea after yesterday's whale blubber. We'll go with this instead.
