I wasn't really disagreeing with you or the SPI. It was more a tongue in cheek observation.
15 years ago I thought the overnight result for the SPI was fairly accurate for the coming day, give or take, but in recent times it has been somewhat all over the shop.
Today is pretty quiet, maybe the US holiday has dampened it as well as Options and Futures Expiration.
I appreciate you contributions and wasn't trying to be rude.
