The problem we have here is that any stocks that are still going OK will get sold by punters to cover losses from the losers. So any good anncmnts are not going to just run on their merits.
Also the drop in commodity prices is going to mean many projects are not going to be able to raise cash and as their only asset was the prospect of future revenue they become worthless until next time.
However I wouldn’t say that enthusiasm has entirely evaporated. Just lower your expectations.
