    We're popping into a (distant) neighbour's place for a bowl of Bubur Ketan Hitam.Regular visitors to Bali/Indonesia will recognise this black rice porridge sweetened with coconut milk and palm or cane sugar. A dessert variation later in the day pairs it with fried sliced banana or cinnamon. Has Indonesia ever seemed further away? Damn, I miss travel.
