The island of Sicily is the home of Granita, and If you happen to travel to Sicily in the summer months, no doubt you will see people sitting out on the piazzas and in outdoor cafes and bars tucking into what at first glance looks like an ice cream sorbet. This semi-frozen Sicilian dessert is called a Granita, and it’s often eaten in the early morning. Nice
