Today is Ubhauli Parva, a day of celebration for the Kirati people of Nepal and northern India. The day marks the start of a seasonal migration into hillier regions as the weather warms. I couldn't find any foods specific to the Kirati, so we'll go with an array of Nepali street foods: malpuwa, gwaramari and sel roti.
