BreakfastThe American state of Missouri gets a day off today in honour of local-boy-made-good Harry S Truman. Scholars of US history may recall Truman inherited the presidency when FDR died of a stroke in 1944. Truman held the post for two terms through the end of WWII to 1953. He is perhaps best remembered now for a sign on his desk that said, "The buck stops here". That idea did not catch on. Breakfast comes from Truman's hometown of Lamar, Missouri. This is the aptly-named" Heart Stopper" from the Tractors BBQ and Grill.
