Today is Remembrance Day (Armistice Day in some countries), when we honour those who fell in the line of duty. November 11 marks the end of the First World War (the one that famously did not 'end wars'). Hostilities ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Breakfast is Basque Eggs to commemorate those who gave their lives in defence of France. The recipe (which you can find here) includes chorizo, tomatoes, oregano, shallots, garlic and eggs.
