BreakfastOn the face of it, North Koreans seem to love their mothers. So much so that NK is one of the few nations that gives everyone a public holiday for Mother's Day. Of course, all is not what quite it seems. The day is celebrated on November 16 because that is the day Kim Il Sung gave a speech titled "The Duty of Mothers in the Education of Children". And the duty of mothers turns out to be to uphold the brutal regime that represses their children. Here are a few North Korean breakfast cereals, as well as a more traditional breakfast spread.
