A vaccine isn't going to fix the US economy, and others which are crippling/ready to blow. A vaccine will purely help with the health crisis.
America is addicted to the "cure" of money printing, but when that stops, they'll be looking for their next hit. Like a heroin addict, and it'll never stop until they go into rehab and accept a long recession.
With the amount of money out there now, I see no way gold does not increase.
