U.S stocks rallied as the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit the 30,000 mark for the first time after Donald Trump finally agreed to cooperate with Joe Biden's Presidential transition into the White House.
The ASX is set to rally off the back of the U.S markets, aided by the Presidential transition and vaccine news. The Australian dollar also rose to a three month high by 1 per cent to US73.69c overnight.
