I have had my biggest gains on alt. coins, I barely touch BTC. Once BTC settles down you should see an inflow of funds back into these, it can be where the stupidly large gains can be made. That last run up saw so many of them doing 20-30-40% in a matter of minutes/hours, hopefully we se that sort of action again
fwiw - I'm no believer in them (crypto), leave it to others to guess their value. 99% of them are sh*t imo, but so are the stocks I'm trading here day to day, its just another way to make some moola
