Today is the Day of Our Lady of the Sorrows, a public holiday in Slovakia. (The "lady" in the title is the Virgin Mary, who suffered at least seven sorrows according to the Catholic faith.) Slovakian food tends towards traditional farm produce - eggs, bacon, bread, honey, sheep cheeses, etc. We've gone with a nice-looking, summery porridge.
