Today is a public holiday in Tonga for the Birthday of Crown Prince Tupouto'a-'Ulukalala. (And you can bet I had to cut and paste that to spell it correctly.) The heir apparent is 35 today. With apologies to Tongans, I am severely stretching the breakfast concept today by serving Disney's Tonga Toast, a concoction from their theme parks. It's cheerfully described as "blissfully rich", which means enough calories to run several marathons and still have enough left over for diabetes. Sourdough bread stuffed with bananas, battered, deep fried and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Sounds suspiciously like the diet that killed Elvis.
