Also on your post about swings, bitcoin hasn't had a +/-30% swing in a single day since 2014, the last time it did that it fell to 10% of it's peak. In this case, if it follow the same path, would be $2000.
It's not the nature of the crypto beast (In fact there is a crypto which is literally tethered to the USD and has no swings), it's the nature of the speculative bubble that bitcoin has become.
