I have read a lot on the stock forums about the improving business environment in the DRC.
There is an ongoing review of mining codes and taxation. This can be viewed as positive or negative depending on your point of view. Simplistically, it would be negative, $ wise; long term operationally, positive.
However, the country is one clash away from slipping back into a brutal civil war. Given the reduction in the budget for peacekeepers under the Trump administration, I believe such regression to be almost inevitable, IMHO. I wouldn't want to be holding when this happens.
