Police test passenger's surprise drug find

Police are testing drugs a man says he found in his suitcase when he flew in to Perth from South Africa.

It is believed the man notified Customs officers after finding the drugs in his suitcase at the Perth airport yesterday.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) say the drugs all appear to be legal prescription and over the counter medications.

The man says he has no idea how they got there.

AFP officers went to the man's home after being contacted by his concerned daughter.
