I would suggest paper trading for a year or two, focus on self discipline and be super critical of your trades. Its not for everyone and its only a very small % who are actually successful at it, don't always believe what you read about it. Plenty of books out there with differeing view points and styles, books can give you "ideas" but you need to create your own style and trading plan. Good luck with it and.......
